FAQs

  • Yes of course. You can amend any of the content of your book at any time. It is quite common to need to make changes, especially after receiving constructive comments from readers/publishers.

  • After the initial 60 day FREE period, if you decide to continue allowing us to promote your book, it will remain listed for a full 12 months. Usually this is long enough to allow publishers time to review your work. The service can be renewed for a further 12 months if required.

  • No, not at all. The fee is only payable if you decide after 60 days to continue to let us promote your book.

  • We will let you know immediately if we receive a request from a publisher for further chapters of your book. Depending on their instructions, we will either put you in touch with the publisher, or request further chapters to forward to them on your behalf.

  • Absolutely. If you have more than one book please let us know.

    You will receive a 20% discount off our normal fees on any subsequent titles.

  • Most publishers like to read the opening pages/chapter of a book. However, if you feel strongly that an extract deeper into the book would be more appropriate, you can of course display this instead. Just be mindful of keeping to around 5,000 words if you can!

  • Yes of course. There are instances where an author may wish to remove their work, just let us know and we will withdraw your book immediately.

    Your book will remain in our library archive for up to 12 months after being withdrawn and can be reinstated at any time during this period.

  • You remain the exclusive owner of the copyright to your work whilst it is being promoted on this website.

  • All comments are checked before being added. If we receive a comment, which we believe contravenes our comment submission policy, we reserve the right to delete it.

  • Providing information about the author can be extremely useful to a publisher, especially when an author’s backstory is relevant to the book and particularly if you have had any previous writing success.

  • A good synopsis should be a 500-word long spoiler for your entire novel. Every major plot twist. Every major character. Any big turning point. Your big climactic scenes. They’re all there, briefly, succinctly and almost always written in the third person.

  • Poetry is usually very subjective and very personal and very difficult to place with publishers. Whilst we would dearly love to help promote this genre, we do not currently have enough interest from publishers.

  • Most certainly, just let us know which publisher(s) you had in mind and we will send them a link to view your book.

  • You can still add your book with us, just let us know which publisher(s) you sent your book to and what response you received.
